Where do we deliver from?
We are based in Kyrgyzstan which is called the heart of Central Asia. All our products are partly made by handcrafters who are from rural areas of Kyrgyzstan. We encourage all traditional production methods and do our best to help them. Some of our items are in prep stock in the USA to offer exceptional logistics cost and prompt door to door delivery.
How do we ship?
Shipping shyrdaks from Kyrgyzstan requires careful planning due to their size, weight, and value as traditional handmade felt rugs. The main shipping international express courier we use is DHL Express. We offer reliable door-to-door delivery with tracking.
How do we package items?
To ensure your shyrdak arrives safely, proper packaging is crucial. First, we roll rugs tightly to minimize its size and prevent creases. We use a breathable fabric or acid-free paper, then secure the roll with twine or rope. After this, we place the rolled and wrapped shyrdaks into a durable, corrugated cardboard box or a sturdy plastic sleeve.
Customs and Documentation
When shipping, we provide the correct documentation to ensure a smooth customs process. Key documents typically include a commercial invoice and a packing list that accurately describe the shyrdak's contents, value, and weight. We also provide a Certificate of Origin, which proves the rug was made in Kyrgyzstan.
