What is your return policy?

Your satisfaction is our highest priority, and we want you to love your purchase. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied, we're here to help. Any products purchased from our website can be returned for a full refund (minus a processing fee per item) within 30 days of the delivery date.

To be eligible for a return or exchange, your Shyrdak rug must be unused, in the same pristine condition that you received it, and in its original packaging (if applicable). Any signs of wear, damage, or alteration will, unfortunately, make the item ineligible.

How to initiate a return?

To start a return or exchange process, please contact us at handmade.kyrgyz@gmail.com. Please provide the following information:

  • Your Order Number
  • The reason for your return/exchange
  • Photographs of the item (especially if damaged or defective)

Our customer service team will guide you through the next steps, including providing you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and shipping instructions.

What are the return shipping costs?

If the return is due to our error (e.g., you received the wrong item, or the item was defective/damaged upon arrival), Kyrgyz Handmade will cover the cost of return shipping.

For all other returns (e.g., change of mind, incorrect size chosen), the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs. These costs are non-refundable.

Packaging: Please ensure the item is securely packaged to prevent damage during transit. We recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

What is your exchange policy?

If you wish to exchange your shyrdak for a different design or size, please follow the return initiation process. Once your original item is approved for return, we will guide you on how to place a new order for your desired item.

What if the item I bought is damaged or defective?

If your item arrives damaged or appears defective, please contact us immediately upon receipt (within24-48 hours) with photos of the damage. We will work swiftly to resolve the issue, either by arranging a replacement or a full refund, at no additional cost to you.
